is this a rebuilding/down yr for nau then? is 4-4 or better exceeding expectations or no? i am not sure about what to expect from nau this fall.

Niether am I. We do have the second most pre-season All-Big Sky players, but new QB. Lost some on the D, as well.
 
I think Jon has the overall record right. I just have a couple of caveats on the details, specifically the Fortnight of the Montanas. I could easily see NAU flip-flop what Jon says there. I'm not sold on the Kitties at all. Plus, with one year of Pflu under their belts, the Griz are bound to wake up this year.

Your opener will be tough, but I think Jon has it right. It'll be closer than most would think, though.

Finally, while I'm glad for any support we can get for the Hornets, that win Jon pencils us in for is no guarantee. The history between our two teams proves that. I also think the Hornets will win, but we'll have to bring our "A" game to do it.
 
6-5 until NAU can show otherwise.
7-4 if things go really well.
5-6 or 4-7 won't surprise me either with the player turnover from last season.
