He made it a point to talk up the strengths of the Big Sky and comments on how hard it is to schedule good competition when said "big boy" teams refuse to play on the road. He gave lots of props to Weber, UNC and UM hoops.

Here's another radio interview. A little bit of controversy can turn into some attention for the league. And not in a "Charlie Sheen - how can I out-d'bag myself" kind of way either.

Mike is 100% correct in that interview, there is a lot of good basketball played here in the Big Sky, and it does suck that we cant get any of the "big schools" to come play here (see Oregon and CBI).

My hats off to Mike he gave a great accountability of himself, and its seems the Big Sky has gotten a few more fans.

Weird how 11 teams from the Big East can get into the NCAA's, when the majority of their wins occur on their home courts. Yeah, the NCAA selection committee isn't swayed by big money. lol...I'm sure each person on that committee got a nice payment from the Big East. Kinda crap when most of us want to watch mid-majors...Cleveland St., Witchita St., and St. Mary's all should have gotten invites. These teams play 16-20 road games a year...I'm pretty impressed that Weber has had such good records over the past couple of years when they play most of their games on the road each year.
