NAU @ N. Colorado 9/27 (prediction)

Last week was by no means a convincing win but it was a win, nonetheless.

N. Colorado can put up points but I'm not sure about their defense. I predict NAU's run defense continuing their domination but the Bears qb/receivers having a decent game. Questions marks at NAU running back lead me to be more conservative that I originally planned.

28-27. Lumberjacks.

I agree, Alex Henderson seems to be hurt and that is bad news for NAU. I think they will win this one, but it just might come to the end just like it did against SUU. I did not like the game at all last week. It wouldn't surprise me if NC pulled off the upset. They need to start Lance K. at quarterback. They play better when he's the QB. We'll see how this one turns out.

Prediction- NAU 27, NC 21

Good defensive effort, particularly with the run D again from the Lumberjacks. Just enough offense for a win. From what I have read they seem to be opportunistic on defense and special teams so far and have done what they needed to.

Sacramento State on the horizon. Sacramento State played Colorado State well on the road, has a home loss to Weber State and already beat Portland State. Will think about next week before making a prediction.

Go Jacks.
