NAU / SUU visits coming up !

I remember watching that game with my dad on tv and we were going nuts when we came back to tie it, that was an awesome game. Hoping this team can keep thier winning ways going into Cedar City tomorrow.

Zona, that was Berry in that game, I was there. Down 7 with 1 minute left, came back to tie and there was one very controversial call of a charge on Jacobsen from NAU. The Cats battled back in O/T, late in the period and maybe up by 1 or 2, had to shoot or take a shot clock violation, launched a shot that rimmed off and was heading for out of bounds. Tres with his toes on the baseline grabbed the rebound and got it back to Richardson, who I believe hit a baseline 3! I still get excited remembering.

You're right heyoh22. That was the sequence. That was a great game! So much fun. There were a good number of Weber fans there for that game. Most were sitting behind Weber's bench. I just remember how loud we were at the end of the game. I do remember Bamforth turning around and looking at all of us screaming at a TO just before the end of regulation. We met him after and he said something about it. The players noticed. Of course Tresnak and Fulton had family and friends there. I saw Coach talking to a recruit after the game also whom I believe was Gittens. I also remember NAU's Coach Murphy coming out of the locker room and walking past all of us Weber fans hanging out with the team afterwards and he had smoke coming out of his ears. He looked pretty intense... Not a happy coach!

Game day, what can we expect from the rivalry game tonight? I would assume SUU will try to keep the game slow and foul to keep WSU from running away with this one. Hopefully our 3's fall tonight I doubt Joel gets many touches without a double/triple team.

Missing free throws and turning it over, we are beating ourselves. Surprise

T-Birds to their credit are are doing a great job at finding the open pass.

Only 4 turnovers. Free throws bad, yes, and it's a liability when Senglin's cold but continues forcing things. Weber is doing nothing to slow Oliverson, I think most of his 6-6 is in or near the paint.

Not including tonight
Golden:
2's: 46/139 =.331
3's: 29/94 =.309
Freethrows: 25/30 =.833

Richardson
2's: 24/50 =.480
3's: 19/40 =.475
Freethrows: 4/4 =1.000

Horrible loss. We got out played in almost every part of the game. If this is our best showing at this point in the season that is sad.

Not a game to lose.... Can't win when you're outscored in the paint 30-10. How do you lost to SUU? Well, by getting outplayed! Getting tired of hearing its a young team!

Hmmm...see a pattern developing here? One step forward (Thur) one step backward (Sat)? At home & away. By the way, Sac St handed Eastern their first conference loss tonight 90-77. Sacstateman, are you out there? (Maybe too peeved at the purple Kool-Aid drinkers still!)

I'm out here and I've got a smile on my face.....must have been the altitude that got you....a step slow....dead legs in the second half .....SUU is a team that will surprise some people, Rawson is really talented and in the future I think they will be pretty tough....hope you continue your one step forward (Thursday against PSU) and one step back (Saturday against the BIG SKY CONFERENCE LEADING SACRAMENTO STATE HORNETS)

One step slow and tired legs are going to be normal for us this year. Gittens played 35 min and you could tell he lost his edge in the second half. He had a great game and with some rest maybe a few more buckets. We aren't deep and our starters will be on the floor the majority of the game, baring foul trouble. SUU rotated guys in every min it seemed. We got out played by fresh legs. Then doesn't help when Senglin goes 1-10 shooting and Golden has to pray when his shot goes up. But we knew that :wall:

Distinctly remember hearing how Weber is going to go 10 deep this year....deepest team Rahe has ever had....greatest defense in school history....blah blah blah
