Those pesky injuries are creeping up now. Out a few o-linemen, a starting quarterback (not sure how long...shoulder?) and an occasional defensive player. Time for the young 'uns to step up. Four of the last six games at home has to help after four straight on the road. That being said, it doesn't get any easier with Montana State, Montana and Sacramento State all looming. Any team can beat the other this season. Parity reigns and unlike many past years, no Big Sky team is dominant. I predict the conference winner will finish with 2-3 losses.
King - I listened to first 10 minutes of the first quarter and pre-game. Followed the rest of gametracker. Herrick injured his shoulder if I read correctly. Offense struggled. Defense played pretty decent game. Tough to lose a game in which the defense created 5 turnovers. Credit to EWU's defense, though, and BLM (Bureau of Land Management?) made plays when he needed. EWU helped themselves immensely in their quest for a playoff spot yesterday. Kudos to them and I'd like to say their fanbase was gracious and fun to interact with the past few days. Best of luck, to the Eagle fans and their fuzzy red field this year.
