I know you're all feeling the high of knocking off a few of the bad teams in the Big Sky but NAU actually has a defense, ranked 13th in the FCS, 31st in rush defense, 15th in passing yards allowed. Also, Best teams as of the last few season tend to not do well on the road.
If yall remember we barely beat Sac State and that was mostly due to a successful onside kick and an interception.

I will give Best credit though for cleaning up the penalties and a lot better special teams then a few years ago. I think they may even be playing better on the road.

Stupid play-calling. Why wouldn't you get the ball to your playmakers in that situation?
It certainly feels that way. Just not good enough.This feels like another one of those narrow loss games where the defense just isn't good enough to get us over the hump.

How is it that this offense can only muster 18 points in this game after scoring 77 last week? Yeah, I get it, NAU is a lot better than ISU, but still....this has been abysmal.
