thoughts: the defense has given up a ton of yards, but most of those yards came from 3-4 plays.

Great point. NDSU is miles ahead of this Eastern Washington team. This EWU QB is NOT a natural runner, he’s going to have a difficult time this season. With his terrible running skills he’s got to be lethal from the pocket. A Quarterback has to be a leader, this guy looks like a HS Freshman. He’s a deer in headlights.

Pretty sure the designed blitzes have him looking like a deer in the headlights. ndsu is fast and those blitzes aren't being picked up at all. chapin is guessing wrong, no outlet. eags have stopped running the ball so bison pinning their ears back now... the overthrows don't look good for sure. we don't know what he has been coached to do but it looks like he's hesitate to run, which wasn't the case against N. Colo last year or in the spring game.

I like slants against those blitzes... ndsu covered the flair well earlier. they are well coached. eags D did get 4 stops in the first half and 2 so far in this half... the big plays have been disastrous..
