Gage can ball. I know he threw three INT's, but he also made some absolutely brilliant plays. Reminds me of BLM in 2010, taking some chances, and sometimes those risks didn't pay off. But that aggressive style also helps.
The defense is getting some stops. They look more aggressive, and they seem to play the run better than the pass, something I wasn't expecting. That being said, I think we do need to cover better.
With the youth of our team, and the play of our young players, our skill already...this is going to be a great team for a long time!
I think we need to be careful about getting too cute with Kupp. If we become overly reliant on one player, it can put him in danger, and limit the ability of our diversity of talents. Those trick plays worked against WSU, who had never seen them, but now that teams are expecting us to use Kupp that way, and it's putting him in too much danger.
Stu Stiles is going to be a force!
Ebukum is disruptive.
These injuries are concerning, but it was really good to see that the drop off between the starters and the back ups wasn't as dramatic as in many other teams.
We need some electricity on the kick returns. We used to have that when Hill would return kicks years ago.
For our team to take the lead after all of the adversity against that team shows that if we play a perfect game, our team will be almost unbeatable!
