NDSU VS. Georgia Southern Thread & Prediction

So who do you think is going to win tonight? Looking forward to watching this one.

I kind of like Georgia Southern here with the upset. NSDU D didn't come across with that WOW factor for me while I was watching the Wofford game and I think GS has more depth at RB.
Plus hay they are EAGLES we have to rout for our own kind :-)


Oh yah forgot about the ticket thing with NDSU - love to see those tickets returned/sold online. :rofl:
 
I'll take Goergia Southern for the upset. While the NDSU defense has been stingy they are up against another level of offense than they have seen. I have not been that impressed with the NDSU offense.
If GS Eagles can score 2 td's they win.
Sounds like an all Eagle Natl Championship game!!
 
I'd love to beat NDSU again, so I'm pulling for them in a way, but their offense has not shown up the past few weeks. I have no idea how good GSU really is, but this is a rematch of the semi's last year. I think its a close one, but I'll give the home team the edge.

I was shocked to hear GS had beaten ODU. When I was watching the game into the 3rd qtr and ODU was ahead it appeared ODU was the better team and had them covered. I would rather play NDSU in Frisco but either one is OK.

Old Dominion seriously lacked defensive toughness and couldn't make any stops as the game wore on. By the end, you got the felling everytime Ga Southern got the ball, they'd score a TD. When you can't stop a team's ground game, you can't win.. it's not like passing teams where you might get a shot at a dropped pass or an errantly thrown ball.
 
FWIW, I'd much rather Georgia Southern win. They are a pretty classy operation, despite their desire to move to the Sun Belt (the SUN BELT!). North Dakota State is more prideful than Montana, but at least the Griz have built their reputation on multiple decades of success.

Although, truthfully, I don't give a shit about any game except the one in Cheney tomorrow.
 
Sounds like the PA announcer is leading the crowd on some of their cheers ... My, my, what would the NDSU cow bell police have to say about that blatant violation of NCAA rules! :rofl:
