NDSU VS. Georgia Southern Thread & Prediction

NDSU wins it, total bummer there. GSU had a great shot but killed themselves with penalties giving NDSU that short field for the go-ahead TO.

NDSU is beatable. They have a great defense, but their offense is nothing to write home about, and they will need to score more than 23 points to beat either SHSU or EWU. Jensen's doesn't seem to have a much better arm than he did two years ago.

First things first, let's roll SHSU!

Maybe both teams had a bad game, but I really feel like whoever wins tomorrow wins the National Championship. I couldn't have been less impressed with NDSU and Ga Southern.

If GA Southern were even coherent, they win that game. After a two timeouts, you can't even get the right personnel on the field for a 4th down play? Then NDSU bails out GSU on 4th down by manning up on the outside? I mean, you're talking high school level coaching there... dumb, dumb, dumb. The damn QB for GA Southern acted like he had no idea what to do with a short clock; it was almost bad enough to suggest they don't practice what to do in that situation.
 
I expected GS to win this one and they should have but for the coaching melt down at the end of the game. In the end I am glad we will be playing NDSU. Their offense is VERY average and their defense is VERY beatable.
Agreed the eventual NC will be playing in Cheney tomorrow.

2 things I learned from watching part of that game

- NDSU is not that good
- There are a lot of ugly people in North Dakota
 
I would imagine that the SHSU fans who also bought up a lot of the tickets would dump them on the secondary market. You'd just have to beat out the Bizon fan who seems hell bent on buying up enough tickets to evacuate the city of Fargo ... and who could blame them this time of year!

Glad to have seen you on Saturday, sorry we lost. :cry: :cry: :cry: Coming close is like playing "Horse Shoes", or kissing your sister ;) ;) :) Our team tried very hard. We spotted to many points in the 1st half. SHSU are a great team. At the half some of my friends came to me and asked "Vic what is wrong? I responded, our team will score at least 40 points in the 2nd half, we scored 42. :thumb: :thumb: but not enough. Hope we can keep them scoreless. I don't want you or anyone think I am a Fortune Teller, I just knew what our team was capable of doing. Happy Holidays to all. Vic Wallace

Sunday,
Isabel should be ready to go next January. Our Team will be back in the weight room sometime in Jan 13. We are going to miss our Seniors, but this comes every 4-5 years. We have some outstanding Players in the wings ready to go :clap: :clap: :clap: Hope to see as many of the Graduates coming back to cheer our team on next year. Hope I can stay healthy, and attend the games again next year, I will pray for another great year. ;) ;) ;) Vic Wallace
