Nevada

Alright, I'm out. Too painful to watch. 3rd and 19 and we give up a 1st down on a run.

We need to recruit a QB and some skill players. I feel like I've said the same thing the past two years but whoever the coach ends up being next year needs to hit the portal hard.

But they did hit the portal for QBs. And they all run the ball lmao.

This is one of the most demoralizing losses in a long time. This Nevada outfit is not a good football team and they’re making everything look so easy.

This is appalling. The coaches are probably out at the end of the season, which sort of creates a problem. With the season lost already, it likely is best for the health of the program to start playing underclassmen. Most positions are being played by guys who simply aren’t good enough to win. If most or all of these games are ending in losses, may as well rotate in the young dudes to get them adjusted.

If Carter is the future at QB, let him start his journey now.

I’m confused as to what our transfer goals are. We brought in 4 drop-down guys on defense over the Summer, and only one sees any time at all. Seeing how bad the defensive unit has been, it defies logic to think none of these guys can be impactful.

hmmmm...man we aren't good. There's no answer. I'll be there next week to root hard enough to make a difference. Best sounded down on radio post game. Now I'm feeling sorry for him.

Maybe if Baldwin comes back he'll let Best coach oline still. He's still a decent oline coach. He could find a FBS job somewhere else making $100k a year.

Regarding the offense, I have been saying this. How does a QB get into rhyme when he is constantly being pulled. Here is a comment from Best in the Spokesman Review.

After the game, EWU head coach Aaron Best said he wondered whether Visperas couldn’t get into a rhythm, what with the number of snaps taken by Taylor and Wortham.

“I don’t know if (Visperas) was seeing things as well as he was normally seeing things downfield,” Best said, reiterating that he trusted offensive coordinator Jim Chapin as to how to employ all three quarterbacks. “At the end of the day, we’ve got to play Kekoa two-thirds to three quarters of the game just so he gets a flow with his receivers, his running backs, especially when it gets to third and fourth down.”
