New 2009 Recruits Signed

List of all the Big Sky recruits:

http://www.bigskyconf.com/Pdfs/football/2009/2/4/2009SigningList.pdf

So, who had the best recruiting class in the conference?

Weber State signed a great class for 2009, including fourteen sorely needed defensive players and nine from the offensive side of the ball.

Four of the twenty five signees are community college transfers. Two are enrolled for the spring semester and will presumably participate in spring ball.

2009 Weber signee, DE Danny Mullarkey, has some excellent film online at espn:

Linebacker Steve Halvorson had a great freshman season at American River College.he brings a 3.03 GPA and "4 for 3" to Weber State. That is, Steve has not yet taken a redshirt, so he has four years of eligibility to play three seasons.

Steve has already enrolled for the 2009 spring semester. You can see his ARC film online at:

Incoming Junior defensive back Jordan Brown ranked second in individual defense in the National Junior College Athletic Assn while playing for national runners-up Snow College in 2008.

Jordan played lights out pass defense in the championship game, and finished the season with 125 tackles, including 63 solo tackles, 2 tackles for a loss, a sack and a forced fumble. He led the Badgers in interceptions with four, two of which he ran back for touchdowns, and he averaged 27.8 yards per kickoff return.
