If you have noticed there is an unknown player on the team this year. He has been in warm-ups for the scrimmage and first exibition game.I know him pretty well, he is a good friend of mine. His name is Christian Peterson. He will be a redshirt this season. He served a Church LDS mission from 2006-2008. He preped at near by Ogden High School, where he started his junior and senior year. He lead his senior team to the first round of the state 3-A tournament. By heart he is a true PG. He has a great feel for the game and understands it well. Has a nice release and is fast. He will be redshirting his freshman year as a walk-on.
Bio: 5'-10" 175 pds. PG

I remember watching Peterson play in high school. No disrespect to the guy, but I never thought he'd be playing at the next level, especially not Division 1. I also remember him being significantly shorter than 5'10'', but I guess that was a few years ago. But I wish him the best of luck. You gotta love a walk-on.

Wow, JimmyD, which rock did you climb out from under?? It has been a LONG time since you have posted on the fan board. Welcome back! :D

JIMMYD has returned... Any luck that baskerville82 or MySpiritGone will be posting again? Yeah, I think its great that Rahe gets a few local kids every year to walk on. He keeps area kids in the loop and keeps it a somewhat community based team.

Yeah, I'm back...sort of. Now that basketball season is upon us, I'll be paying more attention to my beloved Wildcats.

I've been spending the last few months becoming converted and indoctrinated to the traditions of Cornhusker football at the University of Nebraska. It's a big deal here, and that is a gross understatement. But the basketball team is everyone's favorite perpetual joke on campus. Anyway, I won't be able to attend a game at the Dee until Christmas, so yell your pseudo-obscenities extra loud so my nephew can be corrupted and my sister can castigate you all in public.

By the way...there are a lot of BYU grads here, and they're always real retards about wearing their BYU shirts and hats and basically letting everyone know that they went to BYU. Obnoxious to say the least. I brought a few Weber State shirts with me, but I haven't had the balls to wear one in public yet. The Husker fans are pretty rabid, and I value my life.
