We just added another commit. Cody John from Wasatch Academy. He is originally from Canada.

Now with Cody and Dusty added, that means there are going to be 3 current scholarship players not back with the team next year. My guess the 3 are Costen, Hunter, and Golden. If I'm right here is how the roster looks for next year.

You've got to wonder...13=13

I like the addition of Cody John looks like a good late addition by Rahe. This kid has a hell of a lot of upside and potential. Exciting!!

Have to admit I expected some changes, but this is amazing!
You have to look at the team and worry about the youth, but it's obvious Coach Rahe was not comfortable with the program last season. Don't want to speculate on who stays or who goes, but significant change in the program.

Congrats to coach Rahe and his staff! It's clear that this is a major change in the program and a new era for Weber State basketball! I'm excited and looking forward to next season.

We'll be young again with one Senior! Going to start a pool on the first time Rahe says we're a young team! It's going to be a crazy season!

I'm looking at this unofficial roster and its a little amazing! Seven freshman, two Sophomores, three Juniors and one Senior! I know we have talent joining the team, but it's going to be hard to rebuild after this down season. We might be a year away..... But we lose Joel after this season! I'm wondering how deep the bench will be...... More of a concern that we might be starting a red shirt freshman. Next season could be more difficult than last season....... This team needs to grow up quickly in order to compete next year!

This is a great pickup by Coach. As a sophomore and junior Cody was the State 2A MVP and Wasatch Academy, in each season, won the state title. Last season Wasatch Academy played as an independent and were extremely successful. They only played like 5 home games and ended up playing against some of the best high school programs in the nation. I'm in awe that Weber was able to get Cody. I'm shocked that Cody wasn't recruited by higher level programs. Did he play AAU ball? Was he not a major factor for his AAU team if he did? Weird that he didn't have more offers. Hey, I'm not going to complain. He is a major talent and a huge steal by the Cats.

Nice write up by Garside. He has done a fairly good job of hunting down our commits. Neither John or Baker have signed officially with Weber. So, coaches can't, according to NCAA rules talk publicly about these guys till they sign. Nice job Garside.
