I am kind of surprised Boyle didn't go the Jr College route.

Not me, he has 4 guards returning next year that all played a lot this past year. I think for next year the guard position is pretty crowded. Bringing in a juco guard that would expect to play doesn't seem to fit.

On paper he seems like a Beitzel type, well see how the three look next year. I agree he would red shirt and the two big men will play... or at least one will need to and maybe the other can red shirt if they trust Wesolowski playing 10 to 15 a night in the post... although I think he's more a big perimeter player he's not too bulky.
