New CSU HC

Well get this, John Wristen (CSUP) is in the top ten for the new HC at CSU. This even makes me angrier about the Collins situation !!

He would make a great hire for CSU. So would Stitt. But, I doubt that is the direction they will go. From everything I'm reading they feel they are a destination job and they won't "settle" for anything other than a big name. With the new stadium expected to be approved today and their dreams of an invite to join the Big 12, I would guess they believe they can make a big push to get somebody like Pelini or Hoke to come to Fort Collins. And if they can't get a big name then there is a good argument for the interim head coach, Baldwin, to get the nod.

I don't see CSWHo getting into the Big 12. That conference is only going to expand with a sustaining program that draws good numbers to games. The Montana schools draw better than CSWho. They haven't won consistently for over a decade. Ft. Collins won't support a football program. If it doesn't have anything to do with Beer, Bikes, and Bands (the city-wide slogan), the Fort won't support!

Agreed. Never said it was a realistic dream. It's definitely closer to a fantasy. Every time I hear a CSU fan or mouthpiece mention it my response is something like this
