New Logo

after football season we will need a new logo above the header

anyone that has the skills to make one please do

try to keep it balanced...not favoring one sport

I saw members like Grix Grunt and RobsPics are good at this

whoever whenever someone makes a logo please if possible make it not a flash player kind(like our current one)

some members may have a slow internet conection and it would be a pain for them to have to wait forever to post or get on because of our logo

let's be loyal to our fellow Vikings!(and BSC fans)

I think it would be better if the logo was facing the other direction, like the Viking logo does. Consistency is key to marketing a brand, and the flying viking head is our brand. I love the look of the logo, just think that the head should be facing the other direction.
 
My personal opinion: Good start, but could be better.

1) Change the picture of Tyler Hollist with Scott Morrison. Tyler has graduated, and I think Scott will be our dominant player this year.

2) Less emphasis on the cheerleader. I like looking at cheerleaders as much as the next guy, but they honestly suck as a group. I think showing prominence to football (or basketball) would be better.

3) The Green is a little too Duck-like. Darken the shade a little bit, something more along the dark forest green that is our color.

Again, these are just my opinions. I like the look, I just think it needs just a little bit of tweaking.

Oh, and the logo at the top of the forum looks GREAT!
 
I concur with all of DJ's comments. Definitely Scott for basketball, as he's also the team captain this year. And it is a little too "spread out" - too much blank space.
