New Look Lady Jacks

Is anybody noticing the revived roster of the Lady Jacks?? Who is this new team? :o :o :o I have to say, I'm very impressed by the improvements from last year. The team looks totally different. There are so many quality players playing solid and contributing. I'm impressed with newcomer Frost, she's a tough aggressive guard with nice quickness and scoring ability. She's going to be a big help to Amy Patton.

The improvement of the defense is unreal. Last year I was so frustrated with the lack of defense, this year I see tough in your face defense that's causing turnovers. They're rebounding, blocking shots, doubling up on the inside creating havoc for the opposing post players. It's beautiful to watch.

The offense has also improved. We have players now looking for their shot. The shooting is very much improved. I like how we have girls driving in challenging the post players of the opposite team. Our inside game is much improved as well and we're deep. Davis is now an offensive threat!! good for her. Shay May, Pratt, and a couple of other freshmen are contributing.

This is no longer the Amy Patton, Stephen-Jenkins team. This team is aggressive, athletic, tougher, quicker...I think they will battle for the big sky title. I honestly do. Good for you Coach Kelly. Keep it up!!

Just took NEBRASKA to double overtime before losing something like 88 to 96. This team has the weapons to challenge anybody in the Bigsky this season.

Good stuff going on for the women's team. I've watched a few games on the internet and there's a lot of athleticism present. And all of this with Amy Patton not having her best game as a Lumberjack.

Now go give the Big Sky hell.

I know, disappointed with Amy Patton tonight. It seems she's not having her best season, but that may be because of the support she now has. She no longer has to play 30 minutes per game. Frost, Davis, and others are providing nice offense taking the pressure off Patton. Let's see what they can do in the Big Sky this season.
