Peoples is waiting for summer grades to be posted . I have heard that we will be getting a WR transfer from San Jose State Mike Tate.

.....where are you folks finding these "tidbits" ?....and if these new guys are here....wouldn't they be needing to be "getting after it" if they are going to help us this season....they would need time to learn our systems....get in football shape....etc....somebody help me here.....what am I not understanding with these "transfers coming in"....

It looks like Tate, who is from Washington, made a verbal commitment to EWU, but then got interest from SJSU at the last minute and signed with them. Appears to have good size and speed. It would seem that he could help us out. Is it a done deal?

One more question. This seems like a lot of last minute transfers. Is this normal? Does it indicate some desperation on our part, or has the upheaval in college football on a national level changed the dynamic of recruitment/retention for everyone?
