I just posted an interview with the outgoing Montana President about his school. He talks about some important points...and mentions he doesn't think UM will leave the Big Sky for good reason. Go give it a read.

That's a pretty good article. I'm thinking that if BSU and possibly Nevada and Fresno eventually bolt the WAC for the Mountain West, then the WAC could have a difficult time trying to survive as a conference. Montana could very well be content to stay in the Big Sky, as Dr. Dennison suggested. And do you really think that schools like Sac. St., Portland State, or Cal Poly have the financial wherewithal and would meet the requirements to compete in a 1-A conference?

I do know that in some sports Sac State already competes in the WAC...football is the biggest anchor.
