Now that's an interesting turn of events! Makes sense when we have Quincy Forte and Mario Brown, two studs already taking names as running backs. The coaches are probably looking for ways to utilize his athleticism.

No Rashad Wadood?

This was probably the active roster for Spring Ball. Any changes between now and August probably won't be reported for another 3 weeks when Summer camp begins.

I'm pretty sure that is a new roster. I think that is an error with the date. I checked a couple weeks ago and true freshman coming into the program were not on the roster I saw a couple weeks ago.

I think you are correct. All the incoming frosh would not have been on the spring ball roster.

I noticed only one of the Webster twins (Simba) was listed on the roster. Did the other one not make it to camp? There's also a couple of other discrepancies of players that signed but aren't on this roster.

Not totally surprised to see DJ Martin listed at a WR; they probably figure the easiest way to get him involved early on is to play him in the slot. We have 3 or 4 really good backs going into this season.

Next year will be a different story with Forte and Brown both graduating.

Here's an interesting inclusion:

#70 Matt Meyer OL 6-5 285 Fr. TR* Lynden, Wash. / Lynden HS '13/ Washington State Univ. / -

From the WSU athletics website.

Attended Lynden High School...four-year letterwinner for coach Curt Kramme...as a JUNIOR, earned All-Northwest Conference second team...football went 14-0...helped football and basketball teams to 2A State Championships and the baseball team to the championship game......also named All-NWAC first team in basketball and baseball...earned all-league second teams honors in football... all-league first team in basketball...all-state second team and all-league first team in baseball...as a SENIOR, earned all-league honors at both offensive line and defensive end and helped LHS to its second straight 2A State Championship...named All-State offensive lineman by the Seattle Times and the Associated Press...earned All-State honors at defensive end by the Tacoma News Tribune...named a red chip prospect by the Seattle Times...rated three stars by ESPN.com, Rivals.com and Scout.com.

And another:

there's a picture on instagram of his jersey so it may just be that he's waiting on credits to transfer over or something before he's "official"

Wow 7 x-fers from WSU alone. Do you think drop downs could create a problem with future recruiting?
I sure wish it was possible to sort the roster page. Would that be so difficult to use a format that is typical of all other teams?

clawman, I copied it to a spreadsheet and did the sort by position and class but could not paste it back to this thread as table. Lost all of it's formatting. I wish I could just attach the file in some way to this thread.

I don't know anything about web sites but wonder why it would be so difficult for the athletic dept to design the site to be able to sort? Would the entire site need to be redesigned or just that portion?

Booyah! This is very helpful.

roster is updated as of July 16th. Wadood and both Webster twins are on the newest version. Matt Meyer and Joe Njoku both transfers from wsu are not longer listed on the roster.

GoldenEagle,
We have had three Rosters already, the latest is July 30th, if my eyes are wide open, we added 38 new players, and they looked very good. Don't know which ones will be starters, we will be impressed with whom ever starts. These are the Defensive Players that have caught my eyes on the 1st day. Rashad Wadood, Asan Neil-Evan, Keonte White, Josh Lewis, N. Webster, Mitch Fettiq, Eric Orth, Jonah Jordan, Jakob Stoll, Dylan Donohue. I am watching as many of our Recruits as possible. I know what we have from last year, they will fit in very well with Returning Players. Go Eagles!!!!! Vic Wallace

To All,
Made my early trip yesterday morning for practice. The team practiced very hard yesterday. The Recruits were hitting like they were in pads, three fights broke out, no one hurt, Coach is keeping the tempers under control this year it seems. Spoke with Jordan Pulu, he stated his brother Andru Pulu was called back by the Hawks, because so many DL personnel are going down with injuries. Hope he has an opportunity to stay with the team. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: The Recruits are filling in on OL/DL as fast as can be, and they are looking damn good. This Recruiting class is one of the best if not the best. Ronnie Hamlin, Cody McCarthy, Zack Bruce, Albert Havili, Jordan Tonani, Victor Gamboa. Jake Gall, Todd Raynes and many others are really working their "BUTTS" off. I think we will see a different Defense this year. We just have to wait and see. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :x :x :x Not many visitors yesterday, My daughter and myself, 3 juveniles from high school, and 3 adults from Cheney :( :( :( :( :(   . Today is the 1st day in pads, will miss this one, must get ready for a BBQ at my sons home, so must prepare something to take. Vic Wallace
