Good Afternoon Wildcats fans. I'm writing to let you know about a new Weber State basketball website we launched recently: http://wildcatbeat.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. It's powered by StatSheet.com and I'm the editor.

We offer up article game recaps, previews, game notes, recap notes, Conference Player of the Week, NCAA Player of the Week, etc. We have more article types under development now (including our own tournament seeding predictions) and would love to hear from you about how our site could be better.

Here is an example of one of our Recap Notes: http://wildcatbeat.com/weber-state-basketball/recap-notes/eastern-washington-vs-weber-state-recap-notes-3" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

We also have mobile apps for Android and Apple, as well as Twitter and Facebook pages.

Anyway, we are very interested in your feedback. We've got a lot of new features coming in the next few weeks so stay tuned!

I checked this site out yesterday after seeing it on egriz. Cool site with some real cool features, including stats for years past, and this day in Weber basketball history.

Thanks good to hear.

I just noticed another thread title "ESPN just isn't paying any attention at all".

Here at StatSheet ... that's not an issue. All teams receive equal coverage.

I noticed that StatSheet has Utah Valley projected in to the NCAA tournament. That's not really possible since the Great West does not receive an automatic bid to the tournament and there's no way UVU receives an at-large bid.

Here's the link to the projection:

One more note on the projections at the link above. There are only two 16 vs. 16 (17 as you guys have it) games this year. The other play-in-games are between the four last-in at-larges. These will typically be in the 11-12 seed range.
