We didn't waste any time hiring a replacement for Tobin-Haqwk.Bard Sherwood was announced as the new coach today. It's as early a day as you can get, I'd say Sherwood is likely to continue the fine PSU softball tradition following Mariani et al. Possible drawback - she's from Florida and has coached exclusively in the SE. Don't know what that will mean for recruiting. Her specialty is pitching, which could be good for us.
