New Staff?

My guess is Wulff as OC. Not sure how well he did but he has OC experience at Eastern Wash, South Florida and as a offensive assistant with the 49ers. Maybe his friendship with Sears had something to do with Peterson's departure. I thought that he was originally hired to work with the defense.
Lawanson the DC has more questionable credentials, experience as DC limited to 3 high schools.
I hope for the best, at this point of the year I don't look for any major changes.

Wulff is an offensive coach, O Line to be exact. Not sure where you got he was a defensive coach. I am surprised they have not made the announcement that he would be the OC of that is the case.

Wulff was the OC at South florida where they were really bad, as soon as they fired him they got better. He was there for one year. With the 49ers not sure what his role was. He didn't coach a position.

Who is going to coach the QB, we obviously need a lot of work there as well.

I am curious in what the hornets will do defensively. The worst I have ever seen. I guess that is what you get when you switch your RB coach to be the D.C.

Who will be running special teams? This can. It be over looked. Kelly was the ST Coordinator a year ago, not sure why they made the change. Then fire the Parker a year after he does it.

New QB coach - Sacramento State: Sources tell CoachingSearch that former Georgia State offensive coordinator Luke Huard will join the Sacramento State staff as quarterbacks coach. Huard spent four years at Georgia State, including one as offensive coordinator.

Georgia State went 9-38 in those 4 years, 3-9 this season. The HC was fired and he wasn't retained.
He should feel at home in this situation. I really hope for the best, but at this point I don't have much confidence left in Sears decision making ability.

Looks like he has time on the staff of some pretty good MVFC teams, plus quarterbacking is in the family, as his brothers have had at least cups of coffee in the NFL. I like the choice....

You like the hire because quarterbacking is in his family? Talk about irrelevant. They guy averaged 333 yards and 19 points a game. That's less than we averaged last year. Isn't a hiring after a firing supposed to be an improvement in production? They did win 3 games last year, which led to a firing of the staff...so there is that. So much for a guy getting hired off of merit.

Either you're a very poor typist, or you intended on being annoyingly cryptic. New hire will be the play caller, from what a player told me. Wulff doesn't want to put his name on too much, his brand is bad enough. We need to win some games, that's all I know.

No typo's ... and annoyingly cryptic abbreviations? wtf? As for the new QB Coach/Co-OC (that's Quarterbacks Coach/Co-Offensive Coordinator) ... I have heard the exact opposite from inside the building ... as well as the fact Wulff has been making most decisions, since last season ...

After the opening game at Idaho this coming fall.

after the contest in Moscow as Idaho ends their Div I years at the Div I level.

We have 6 games at home and only four games away from Sacramento and one of those games will be a bus ride to Cal Poly.

A season to get 'Sac State football moving back on track

And any season offers that.

But this 2017 schedule offers that a bit more.

Looks like we lost our linebackers coach to a local high school.

Linebackers coach Tyler Almond is leaving to become head coach at Christian Brothers HS in Sacramento.

You know things are going under when the staff starts bailing for HS positions…right as spring camp is kicking off…

With a new AD soon to come on board coupled with the embarrassing performance of this program, Almond took a proactive approach and found a new job before the axe fell…smart move. Of the poor defensive performances in recent years, the LBs always seemed to have a standout player.
