New UNC President - Andrew Feinstein

Big news in Greeley with the hire of President Andrew Feinstein. I assume he was hired because he is what the university needs from a financial standpoint, but I'm curious to see how his hire will impact the Athletic Department. Haven't found anything related to experience working with athletics or his stance on what it takes to build successful programs...one thing is for sure building successful athletic programs is not cheap.

Yeah, it's hard to tell. Norton was there way too long. I'm looking forward to seeing what Feinstien can do. He was a finalist for the Montana president job. If you think we are doing horribly financially, just take a look at what is going on in Missoula. They're talking cutting entire departments, firing tenured professors. They have a giant mess.

Be interesting to see how this goes. We have had a politician and a lawyer/politician as presidents the last 20 years so having someone with proper college administration experience could be a really good thing.
