I am truly scared

I agree, Nike needs to hit one out of the park on this. Maybe it is the least they can do for PSU considering it was a PSU student that invented the Swoosh!!

Any time we can partner with Nike, we need to jump on board. If they want to use us as a test team for new uniforms then I'm all for it. Look what Nike has done for UO. We want in on that gravy train.

That's right VikThunder... Not only UofO but Nike is a bigger sponsor for OSU then many people realize. I think Nike is cutting edge and progressive with their marketing, that being said Nike has to see the product and marketing potential that PSU brings to the table.. At any rate all good stuff...Can't wait for the season to start.

Like many, I am beyond scared. I had just started to get used to the current unis. I'd love to settle on a classic "PSU look" that we can keep for awhile. You don't see traditional football powers (Notre Dame, Penn St., USC, and Alabama come to mind) changing their unis every few years.

Yeah, words "tribal" and "robotic" as quoted by one of the players as to the look concern me a lil'.

Straight from the unconfirmed rumor department Ok so at the fan deal at Lincoln this guy told me the Nike designed uniform was all black with a spear going down along one arm, and another spear coming over the top of the helmet. He said there was hardly any green in it at all just like in the stitching (?) piping. He said I think it was for home games the jersey would be white. I should pay more attention to this stuff but mostly I'm just thinking like lets beat Montana, lets beat Montana State, lets beat McNeese State etc.

Vikings used spears but they aren't really associated with them.

Ian's blog has some good information on the new PSU uniforms.

Sounds simple and it looks like the helmets will be black with that spear down the middle. Throw some green in there and I think I'll be a happy camper.
