I personally am an old school guy. I would only have PSU school colors on the uniform. But the kids today are all about the black. And anything to make the players feel more excited I am all for. If that means the unis are all black, then so be it.

Straight from the unconfirmed rumor department Ok so at the fan deal at Lincoln this guy told me the Nike designed uniform was all black with a spear going down along one arm, and another spear coming over the top of the helmet. He said there was hardly any green in it at all just like in the stitching (?) piping. He said I think it was for home games the jersey would be white. I should pay more attention to this stuff but mostly I'm just thinking like lets beat Montana, lets beat Montana State, lets beat McNeese State etc.

Well it's great to finally see the helmet. It does look kinda Hawaiian. What you have to do now is imagine you've just raided some English village. You're at the Viking post (game) raid party. There's a firepit and you're using one of these spears as a rotisserie while you barbecue a grizzly.
The Viking cowboy hat Jerry's wearing in todays paper. Hey he's really upgraded his hat. It looks sweet. Wonder if they're going to sell those?

I keep on seeing posts on Oregonlive.com saying that black is replacing our school colors. That is not the case. Our colors will still be forrest green and white. We simply have black football uniforms.

No kidding. People need to calm down about the colors. From my youth during the Pokey era, the colors were always green and gray/silver, so I'm partial to that scheme, but things change over time and the uniforms don't have to always exactly match the school's official colors.
