Anybody know if they look significantly different? We going away from the all blacks at home? I didn't even know we were getting new ones.
 
I didn't know either but i saw this teaser on EWUEquipment's twitter. Apparently we are getting the new style of Adidas uniforms like UCLA's.

I'm not the biggest fan of the Adidas design either but I do like that Eastern has been active in the uniform game. Loved the matte black helmets last year along with the all blacks uniforms we wore for Montana.
 
UUGGHHH I am more of a gloss kind of guy! Not a fan of the matted look. But loved the cameo jersey's from last year.

Anyone know how to pick up a pair of the WR gloves?
 
As long as we stick to just having two helmets and three jerseys and pants each. Each new set including helmets cots $50k. Oregon went through 9 different ones last year, and that kind of spending makes me sick. I'd appreciate if Eastern (or any other school) said publicly "no new unis this year guys, we're making a $50k donation to a ______________ in the name of Eagle football."
 
Isn't most of that 50K absorbed by the Adidas contract?
If not then that is a ridiculous amount of money for an extra pair of equipment.
 
Really liked the "All Whites" from a year ago. These have potential if they turn out to be just the red. I also am not a big fan of the shoulder stripe unless it turns out to be a solid color like a white stripe or something. But something tells me they will be exactly like the UCLA one just in red black and white.
 
White helmets... :nod:

Matte helmets... :nod:

All red... :ohno: Haven't seen one yet that looks that great.

I kind of still like the 80's EASTERN on the side of the helmet. I think we might have even went a year where we had silver pants and blue piping.

As pimps like SE would say...sick! :mrgreen:
 
On these new uni's my guess is that these will be replacing the all-reds that we had the past three years or so. I doubt we'll see anything else new since we just got the alternate matte blacks helmets, the new all-whites, and the new all-blacks all last year.

I really like both helmets. Even the traditional metallic red one we've had for several years. I don't think much needs to be done there. White helmets? :lol: No thanks.

And Kalm, I think the "EASTERN" helmets were around into the 90's until they were replaced by the Alabama-style helmets with the numbers on the side - then, I believe it went to the new logo after that sometime in the late 90's.
 
Saw another sneak peak today. Pretty sure they're going to be a mix of the current black uni's and the current white uni's. They look to have the Eagle Wing on the sleeve like the white ones, but have "EASTERN" printed across the chest, with the material of the UCLA ones posted here. Should look pretty sharp! :thumb:
