Would have been better with the Red Matte look helmet like the black ones, not a fan of the number font either. But overall, okay I guess.

Not a fan of the number font either. I have noticed that Eastern sports have adopted that word font for the athletics.

I like that they kept on just having "Eastern" on the front. That said, it sucks that my kids red jerseys are now obsolete.

My son has only had his name on the back of his jersey for one season - youth ball when he was 11.
Coaches always said play for the team. Play for the name on the front, not the name
on the back. :twocents: Works for me.

That said...... 17 DAYS!!!!!! Can't wait! Football, and my first trip to Oregon. Knocking out the bucket list 2 at a time! GO EAGLES!!!!!

Might be an interesting poll... somehow it seems small time to me and with all the improvements going on & the new uni's not putting player's names on the back doesn't fit with the image of a big time football program.

Really? I don't remember names on them at all since I became a fan in 2004.

Not sure about how long we had 'em, but I know for sure my first year in 05 my name was on my jersey.
