New Video Score Board project

Very cool! That video gave me chills, because I remember how great it is to be a Bear. Getting a video board will help with recruiting and get us back to being champs. I'll contribute!

I agree, I am planning on donating. Tried going to the UNC Foundation page, but they don't have a project listed yet for the Skinner Video Board.
 
I really like Dunn. You can notice he's made a difference already. The Spring game has already garnered more advertising than before, and now the video board fund raising. He's going to do good things for UNC. :thumb:
 
Interesting that it was pulled. I found the video looked really professional. High quality image, nice audio and good editing. Something you generally don't see from UNC for a viral video. Lets hope they put it back up soon.
 
Talked to a couple people. Sounds as if the cat got let out of the bag a little early. They weren't quite ready to go public with the announcement and that is why the video was pulled for now.

The video that has been coming out of the athletics department has seen a dramatic improvement over the last couple months. They have a new video person/team and it shows. The spring game promo video was also a lot higher quality then what we are used to seeing as well.
 
It doesn't matter if it was pulled or not to me. The fact of the matter is that they're doing this in the first place. This is a good thing for UNC. I hope they add a link on the main web page that leads to the video and a spot for donation. This is what other athletic programs do. I'll be ready to give $$$ when it's ready to go!!!
 
So we really are getting a new scoreboard? If so that's awesome I'm just shocked they were legally allowed to remove the old one as I think it was on the National Registry of historic interest being that it dates back to the 1890's.

Good job by the AD and whoever else had a hand in getting it going. Long overdo. I hope its big enough. Gotta love Daltons remark though ! The guy has still got it !

Good idea! I created a thread on the Athletics section and put it in the annoucnements section (with the license plate thread). I can move it as a 'sticky' on top of the regular athletics section if you think it would get more looks that way.
