New Women's head coach

Kamie Ethridge, a K-State assistant is named new head coach. She has a very impressive resume - Gold Medal Medal winner, Women's Basketball Hall of Fame and 18 years of coaching experience.

It's kind of weird, the 3 assistants she brought are all from K State including the former head coach for 18 years. Not sure the whole story there but that's a very talented coaching staff to say the least.
 
I believe she's the highest paid coach at UNC. Also, check out the Tribune article today about how the a.d. pulled off this higher. It also explains how Dunn is doing great things at UNC. :notworthy:

Yea, that was an impressive move by UNC to get her and three of her staff. Should be great for recruiting also. :thumb:

Essentially Dunn, Adams and Taylor-Dixon busted their butts to get one of the prized coaches in the nation. Spending countless hours on the phone, email, constant communication and conducting interviews in Denver. Why Denver, I don't know.
