According to the CIT website, the winner of the Weber-ORU game will plat at NIU

The reason they get to host winner of weber/roberts was because they had a big turnout for tonights game: 3300.

Maybe attendance and tkt sales is a nonfactor. Maybe they are hoping one of these small gyms can host the title on cbs ?

Best team, with the best record and the best attendance is going to have to go on the road again for the 2nd straight year. :ohno:

So do you think the CIT will feel stupid after Weber gets a crowd of over 7,000 tomorrow?

I wish. But I don't think attendance is the biggest thing they are looking for. :bs:

I hope we beat oru. Its too bad the winner has to go to NIU. Does anyone know the process to get games? Is it like fcs bidding. We all know wsu has always run on a shoe string budget. Maybe uni still has some sweet 16 money left over to give to the cit.

I did not think wsu could even get us a second home game so I am glad we got three.

I think it has more to do with the CIT keeping UNI happy, whether they deserve to host or not.

Wildcat, I think you are correct- the CIT is hoping to favor UNI for future considerations, since it is from a "more major" conference maybe?

The real question is; If we win tonight and again at UNI, will we get to host the championship?

I think that our chances would be good. :thumb:

Hmmmm...lets see.

Best Team
Best Attendance figures
Best Stadium
Best Atmosphere
Best Enviroment (Cedar Falls vs. Ogden yeah right)
Best Everything

hmmmm...CIT has really made their tournament look like a bengalhater

Thats so weird, becasue when I bought my tickets for tonight the lady at the ticket office said we would host Saturday if we won. Wierd. Stupid Northern Iowa. lol. I wish we could get an explanation as to how the games are picked. Seems like a no brainer to have it in Ogden. They would make so much more money. Oh well. I guess we just have to bet them there. :)
