Ha ha... the hits keep on coming. I was just reading through the board, and am still laughing. Kadeezy, you may be the most opinionated and offbase person I have ever read. Telling players maybe they should change sports, calling out character of players both in Basketball and Football. On one hand I get that fact that this is a fan site and the passion runs deep as well it should, but you don't even pick your own team to win so I will just discount everything you say from here on out. But I do want to thank you for lifting my mood this morning, I was in a poor mood watching the market but you changed that.
 
Prior to this week, my last post on eGriz was made during the 1st week of September providing updates on the Colorado State game.

Of the posts you're refering to this week. One is trashtalking UC Davis, one is post under the Hornet Hotties, one is defending us for Pam-gate, and one is a game score prediction.

Get over it. I'm sorry you missed me, but there are other people on this board that spend WAY more time on eGriz than I do.

The sport change comment was a reference to Elon's older brother Stephon quitting the Football team two years ago and joining the track team and actually doing a great job. If you knew half as much about Hornet Athletics as you claim, you would have known that.

I mentioned Elon's "Football Character". I don't know him as a person other than his internet rants and I think I made that quite clear. In terms of Basketball, I lived with a member of the team and attended every practice and game for three years and I know what I'm talking about.

You're right, this is a fan site. But that doesn't mean I have to pick the Hornets to win EVERY week. What's wrong with picking a game the way you think it will turn out? I still think the Hornets can finish 6-6 (4-4 BSC)...

I love how we have all these fanboys joining the board who pull for a specific player and love to send nastygram love notes via Private Message to me for giving my opinion. Give me break...
 
Ease up there Nancy!!! hate to see you lose a vein in your neck. Not sure what your talking about with private messages, see the problem is they are private and since I am not sending them I don't enjoy the reading of said messages.
 
wrong again, kadeezy - you posted a thread on Oct. 6th (Outsiders View). at least get your own stories straight.
 
Don't blame Kadeezy for the so-called sucking up to Griz fans on eGriz. He's never done that. In fact, he's battled toe-to-toe with some of their best smack talkers up there.

If anything, I'm the one to blame for that garbage, and it goes back to our history of never beating them. But even I have seen progress and am predicting a Hornet victory NEXT year, for which I've taken inordinate amounts of heat from the MINORITY of eGriz fans that are actively pushing for our ouster from the conference.

There HAS been a lot of improvement this year. I just think that we're a year away from slaying the dragon. But that's ME. Don't blame Kadeezy.

first of all, what is a fanboy? are fanboys opinions valid here, or is there a specific fanboy site i should be directed to? please advise...

secondly, what's wrong with pulling for a specific player? i would think that the majority of the fans in the stands are each interested in a specific player(s), and also the team at large. it's true in any sport, and not just unique to hornet football.

i could make predictions on how i think every game will turn out, but the fan in me and my positive attitude is going for the home team, e v e r y time. and i believe the players have the same attitude - that they will win every remaining game. they have to have that attitude or they wouldn't be on the team.

i'd rather be positive and predict wins on all the ramining games (and be called an idiot at seasons end), than predicting a 6-6 season - a sure recipe for mediocrity.

I'm realistic. It's not like I'm going to be sitting there listening to the game rooting agains the Hornets so my prediction will be right.

P.S. Fanboy is a term used to describe any individual who is devoted to a single subject in an emotional or fanatical manner, or to a single point of view within that subject, often to the point where it is considered an obsession.
 
You were just spouting off a week or two ago how good your predictions were for the season - maybe you ARE rooting for the Grizzlies!

I am sure Coach Sperbeck is realistic too, but he has to suspend "reality"for a moment and actually believe that his boys can beat the Grizzlies. It's called faith in your team. I'd rather be called a fanboy that than be predicting a loss on the opponents website.

They definately CAN beat the Grizzlies. However IMHO, they will not. I don't know how to make that any clearer.

I see nothing wrong with being realistic about any prediction. I'm a big fan of the Bengals and I'm telling everyone that we're going 0-16. I just think it could jeopordize your credibility at times if you aren't realistic; however, optimism is always good as well. I think a win in the Sac State column is as justified as a win in the Montana column. Like SuperHornet said, we haven't beaten these guys in ages.

By the way, I predicted this: CSUS 27; Montana 24
