I don't know how reliable this sit is, but

is reporting NFL free agent signings:
Broncos
Nathan Overbay, TE, Eastern Washington

Cowboys
Matt Nichols, QB, Eastern Washington

It's pandemonium, no-holds-barred. Every player undrafted is up for grabs. Nichols should have a good shot at making the Cowboys' roster... behind Romo is Kitna, and some no namer. He'll have a lot to talk about with Romo too, since both played FCS and barely lost to Montana (Romo with EIU @ UM in the playoffs).

Overbay has a good shot too, since the Broncos just traded away Scheffler.
 
Nichols to Dallas is confirmed on NFL.com through the Dallas Morning Star. Goeags.com also reporting Nichols to Dallas and Overbay to Denver.
 
There's also the central connection between Baldwin and co. And kitna. Probably had something to do with the offer. Choosing a favorable situation is one advantage to not getting drafted. I'm very proud of those guys and it looks like I'm going to have to now be a fan of my two most despised NFL teams.

I don't mind rootin' for Dallas too much. They do have an FCS QB as their starter. Although Romo did kind of fuck over my Fantasy team this last year. I hated Denver last year because they kept on pulling wins out their ass and making our 1st round pick from them worse. :lol:
 
Congrats to both Nichols and Overbay, they certainly deserve the chance.
 
Why did it have to be Dallas? The greatest QB ever to come from our school, and he has to end up going to my most despised NFL team. Why?

Absolutely! Stupid Stealers...I still feel the sting from that travesty in 2006. :lol: I'm very excited for Matt and Nate (and a certain Tennessee Titan signee who will remain nameless :D ) and I know they will hit the ground running and with the right attitude. One thing that the EWU coaching staff instills in the players from day one is a culture of competition and resiliency that really prepares them well for any challenge. I can't WAIT for July!
