Nice Wins for the Bengals

The ISU women beat UNC last night, they have now won 6 of their last 7, and have four road wins in league play. The men got a huge victory over second-place UNC last night, thanks to a big three by Tomas Sanchez and a key rebound and two free throws from Abba Preh. Oh, and the defending regular season champion softball team won their opener 10-7. All in all, it was a good night to be a Bengal.

I really liked what Coach Evans said last night on the post-game show: "It's ALWAYS good to be a Bengal!"

As a side note, my wife and I brought someone to the game last night--someone who hadn't seen a Bill Evans team play a game. His comment: "This is a fun team to watch. I like their brand of ball." There are probably more out there who look at wins and losses but don't come to see them play. Bring someone Sat for NoDak. Let's put more people in the house. Go Bengals!

I agree Bill. These guys are fun to watch and easy to root for. They are really good people. The more the merrier!

I agree, very fun team to watch. I'd really like to see 3,000 people there Saturday night - how fun would that be?

I really liked what Bill Evans said on the post game show, he said; "I'm really proud of these guys, tonight I'm happy and proud, if the score were different I'd still be proud, but sad". Couldn't have said it better myself.
