SH...I don't know much about their program but I'm curious as to why you think Nicholls is an awesome opponent?

It's not so much that Nicholls State is an "awesome" opponent in and of themselves. It's that we're branching out East (as we started to do with UNI) for OOC opponents. That can only help our SOS, at least when compared with playing D-II games, those old in-conference "OOC" games against specious schools like ID State, or bodybag games like Oregon. It was better when we were playing teams like Hofstra and others way back East, but at least this is a start. I'd like to get Youngstown State, Delaware, and the like, too. But at least this is a start....

I agree with your line of reasoning...I just wish we had scheduled a more significant opponent like your Youngstown State suggestion.
