Well, after last nights thorough beat down, what are our chances in Grand Forks? I think Weber is going to be seeing two complete different teams, headed in completely different directions. UND has really struggled as of late and were beat just as badly, actually worse, in Greeley about a week ago. Biggest factor...Huff and UND's backcourt. Our front court should have a successful night against UND's front court. Weber has to be tough, and play defense. Finally, offensively, we need to try to get to the rack. We are a terrible three point shooting team, and can't depend on that right now. Shut down Huff and get our bigs going for the entire game, Weber wins.

Wildcats need to toughen up fast for sure...UND beat Idaho St 66-62, looks like Huff & Co. rallied then held on in 2nd half. Definitely a winnable game for the Wildcats if they don't get down after being spanked. :)

und was lucky to beat suu and isu in 2 of their 3 home big sky games. unc had a good game and served us. hopefully travel doesnt make things worse. anyone been to und?

will the big sky champ go 15-5?

It's looking like it will be tough to get a win, anywhere, on the road in BSC this year. Eastern will likely beat MSU and UM may struggle against PSU. I believe that the only team to not have played on the road yet is UNCO. I believe that UND went there first. 15 - 5 might host. :yikes:

will the big sky champ go 15-5?

Ken Pomeroy had BSC with two teams at 14-6 as leaders ( now No COLO is projected at 15-5) with changes every game.

Personally, I think 14-6 is likely this year. Should be nerve-wracking but exciting down to the end.

I can not wait for the return match with the Bears in Ogden! :nutkick:

We are not playing well at all of late.

I figure your bigs shouldn't have much trouble scoring down low today. We often put 5 guards on the court, and we haven't been shooting well.

I was really looking forward to this game until the season got underway. The Sioux have been a big disappointment so far.

Well I was sure wrong about the UNC game. lol. We straight got our Waldo's handed to us. Barden is the MVP now and its not even close. Now we get UND. Before the season started I thought they would be to biggest challenge for Weber State. Like us they have really struggled against lesser teams. Cal Poly just killed them and they barely beat a bad SUU team. Still they have talent and can beat anyone in the conference easily. I think we will play better then we did against UNC and hope we win. We are due to win a road game. 0-5 is damn right frustrating. Looks like Weber wins when we score 70 points and win the rebounding battle. So if we do both those we win, if not we lose. Easy enough. :-D

I missed the 1st half, how has the game gone?

Based on the box score, Gittens didn't start and hasn't played much; Dev has been M.I.A.; Tres either got hurt, got in early foul trouble, or is REALLY struggling; Joel is grabbing some boards and missing shots; between JR & Senglin, some shots are falling; and Fulton dusted himself of and does what he does-- shoots some 3's and mid-ranged jumpers. How did I do?

...also, I just got the game streaming on AmericaOneSports, is it my connection/equipment or is the stream having problems (like a buffering problem?)

UND announcer is horrible... He honestly believes he is a ref. He thinks every WSU possession is a travel.... He was also calling out the WSU fan base for "yelling at the refs if they sneeze on them." He must think our fans are horrible. How many times have they visited the purple palace? Once, twice maybe? This 28 year old dude needs to take a hike....

Example of this moron.... "And off the leg of Gittens out of bounds... Actually they give the ball to Weber State. I really couldnt see the play, to many bodies in the way.." Well yeah ya moron... Just call the game....

Trez is soooo soft... Aside from the BYU game, he has performed extremely below what we expected.. He still has no points and 4 fouls. He should be putting up a double double every night. What is his deal? HIll picks up stupid fouls and looks confused....

Working better now and it is a nice broadcast. Yes, announcer is a clown which is strange because last year I thought UND had really good announcers-- maybe I'm mistaken them for UNC. He thinks EVERY time Weber touches the ball there's a travel and then in the same breath calls out WSU fans as being homers and on the refs all the time.

Good tough team win for our guys on the road. Sometimes you have to gut out wins on the road in conference. Some WSU Fans may not know enough to realize that about conference play but that's okay they are WSU Fans not all are truly knowledgeable that's why they are called fans.UND did a good job of putting Tres in pick and roll situation where he had to switch onto 1 & 42. Neither one of them are post so they got him in foul trouble tonight. I thought Hill helped out well 1 of his fouls was a charge that the ref missed and the other was a steal that he got but you can't touch Huff I guess so they called a foul. Hill had a nice put back dunk, baseline jump shot and helped close down the paint at times. JRich and BFulton showed up big today spreading the floor and hitting some big 3s. Got to have that every night from the entire team.

Well i won't say it was the best game, but a win is a win and we are 3-1 and are coming back home. time to rack up the wins

Is Fulton the spot up shooter we need? He has never met a shot he didn't like... If his knees can hold out, he should be able to help in small doses if we can cover his defensive deficiencies.

I think that Fulton's knees are OK now. It's his ankles and feet that have been the problem lately. He really has had a multitude of injuries. With many teams in the BSC playing 4 guards and one post, the opportunities for Byron may be limited. He will have his spots, as he did today, and I just hope that he continues to make the most of it. He is a big part of much of our success over the last several years.

This game was huge for us. There are not going to be as many road wins in the BSC this year. Every win is important, but road wins are even more so. As long as we keep getting better, we will be just fine. We just got through one of the toughest road trips of the season with one win and one loss. Now we have to hold court at home. None of these games are going to be easy, but being home is sweet.

Lets get some big crowds out and make a little noise. :thumb: :thumb:
