Stewart is going to be an awesome place to watch a game.
It really is awesome.talhadfoursteals said:Awesome facility being finished on the North end of the stadium. Such a cool building. Love the two new boards. Stewart is improving and will be a fun location to watch football.

Man, this will be big for recruiting. Just check out that locker room. Really nice stuff.
There will be a public open house on Sept 6, from 4-6.

The new video board is big time as well! Many P5 schools don’t have a screen that awesome. I’m one of those fans that is never satisfied until Weber is an FCS power. The next step is to get some temporary seating for the south endzone and maybe put the band and some fans there. Also, I couldn’t stop looking up at the mountain and thinking how cool a W would look.
Thanks to all of those who made the upgrades a reality! I’m defiantly sleeping a little better knowing we have some big time facilities and a beautiful stadium.
The next step definitely needs to be improved concessions facilities...it was almost laughable walking (stumbling) thru grass & sand with electric cords running all over...like you were at a state fair. Get something permanent set up! That's the only unclassy part of the stadium now! :twocents:WEberNation said:The stadium felt much more big time today with the new endzone plaza! Concessions definitely got worse. They removed two permanent concessions stands. One for construction and the other ? The new Wildcat Store is nice to have, but I would prefer a better layout of concessions. Sell the gear from a trailer.

SWeberCat02 said:There was definitely a net hanging in front on the big south side board. If you didn't notice it it was probably because it wasn't being put up and down. I even talked to a YESCO employee who commented that the net was killing the HD effect. If you thought the screen was good Saturday wait until they remove the net, which I'm assuming they will.
As far as oldrunner goes, I generally ignore his posts. Most are just condescending ramblings.
SWeberCat02 said:Don't want to nitpick, but with such an awesome big screen with HD quality picture, I hope they can find a way to move the netting. It really diminishes the quality of the picture. Hope they can figure out a way to lower the net and only raise it for kicks. Wasn't it that way before?

New, retractable netting will be installed on the south end in the near future. Not sure of the exact timeline, though.
