Northern Colorado at Fresno State

Thanks for posting this. I find this interesting:

Fresno State is 1-1 this season against Big Sky teams. It opened the season with a 77-65 home victory against Sacramento State, and lost at home last Sunday, Dec. 14, against Montana (69-65).

Another good benchmark game for the Bears.

Yeah, similar to Portland -- in that I think they (Fresno State) will be similar to an upper-echelon Sky team. Portland was bigger than us, and Raivio was a great scorer/floor captain (remind any one of Portland State?). Fresno State should provide a good barometer for us of what it will take to win on the road in conference this season.

It should be interesting.

Also, just so you all know. The regional time zone area of my brain wasn't working yesterday ... so I put the wrong local time for tonight's tip on my release. It starts at 9 p.m. (Mountain) not 7.

Okay, tbh, I went to bed an hour before the game even started (since it started 11:00pm my time). From the stats it looked like we had a decent enough 2nd half but turnovers killed us. All in all not a bad result on the road but it would have been nice to win. Hurry up conference play!

ps - I would rather have no picture on the web site than a picture from the UNC-DU game (but that's just me).
