I think with all the talk about Davis and Poly joining we forgot about one major thing

Our game against our friendly rivals to the east, the Bears of Northern Colorado.

The Bears just got done man-handling Adams State College, and every time we get together the games are usually pretty close, remember how close they came to beating us last year? The Bears have a solid defense and an offense that seemed to start clicking last year.

What are your thoughts on this game, I think we win 28-17.

i think the offense will be pretty smooth, defense still working some kinks out on the front 7.

35-21 'CATS ON TOP

Even though the Bears are improving and are sporting one of the top defenses in the Sky, I think the Cats will be able to move the rock without many issues. Weber has way to many weapons on Offense. The OL looked incredible last week.

The two positions I was most worried about really showed some depth last week. The RB/FBs and WRs played great. I feel for Coach Mac having to decide which players to start and play.

Defensively, the Cats have got a few issues up front. Did anyone else notice Moustafi playing DT? AWESOME!! Regardless of how they started the game against BC, the defense really got after it in the second half. They held the Eagles scoreless. The only points BC was able to produce was the pick six. If Weber goes TO free and trades one of the field goals for a TD, the Cats have a chance to pull off a major upset.

With that being said, I really didn't get a chance to watch the Bears last week. I'm happy that they were able to move the ball and hold Adams State, but Adams State is still an average, at best, DII. Even if they did beat Western State. One area that really impressive me about the Bears is their intensity. They bring it every play.

No matter, I think Weber has to many weapons for the Bears to stop.

1320 KFAN has been running a commercial advertising the game. It's good to see that some marketing is being done. I hope we are all doing our part by spreading the word. The weather for the game should be great, the Utah and BYU games will be over before kickoff, cheap tickets, and fireworks. There is absolutely no reason that this game shouldn't be well attended. Go Cats!

"After opening the season last Saturday at Boston College, the Weber State football team returns to Stewart Stadium for the 2010 home opener this Saturday when the 'Cats host Northern Colorado.

With the game on September 11, it's Military Appreciation Night as the Wildcats will honor those who have fought to make our country so great. A pregame flyover, a giant United States flag, and military honors will take place during the game. All military personnel and their families will get a ticket to the game for just $2.00 each.

Plus bring the whole family and get six tickets for just $25.00. There will also be a Kid's Area with inflatables and other activities for the whole family.

Game time is 6:00 p.m. as the 'Cats host the Bears in the Big Sky Conference opener. Plus stick around and enjoy the post-game fireworks, immediately following the game.

Come honor America and cheer on the Wildcats as they host their first game of the 2010 season.

Get your tickets to the game now by clicking here or calling the ticket office at 801-626-8500. Season tickets are also still on sale.

Come cheer on the Wildcats Saturday night at Stewart Stadium.

It's a Great Time to Be A Wildcat!!!"

maybe weber could also try catering to the fans. i went and bought season tkts yesterday at like 4pm they said they couldn't print them yesterday as they were done printing for the day whatever that means. but they would gladly take my money. they said i could come get them today when they opened at 10am.

naturally i called before going over to the dee, never trusting the tkt office for good reason and many bad experiences in the past. i was on hold for 10-15 while they found out if my tickets had been printed. maybe it took so long because we have sold so many thousands of tkts. though i doubt they could do it if there was th demand.

they said i could come get them at 3pm.

maybe the printer is really slow or maybe only the director of IT is smart enough to hit the green button to turn on the machine. lol

why is it always such a hassel for me to deal with the tkt office...dont even get me started about the days of the basketball student season tkts (yikes). maybe the problem is too many students work at the tkt office. it always seems like no one knows what is going on. no one can ever answer a question.

i also asked if i could get my bball season tkts, none of em could answer that question. they didnt have a clue. sadly i received a letter in the mail to renew them last week. maybe its worth the $6 fee to order online.

That beats 1280 The Zone, they have been anouncing the WSU game is an away game during their sports updates. I emailed them hopefully they will correct their mistake.

Yea, I rarely listen to the local shows. The local shows don't even know Weber exists. I only listen to 1320 for the Jim Rome Show. I've already heard the commercial for the football game several times today. It's good to hear Wildcat Karl pimping the game. I can't wait until tomorrow. Go Cats! Bear the Bears! :D

the worst thing to do is to not be 'customer friendly' with our fans, this is soooooooooooooooo frustrating, to say the least..............sheeeesh
