Northern Colorado Game

This game has become kind of a small rivalry, much like our series with Portland State. Expect the Bears to come in with a lot of fire, they are hungry for a win in the Dee.
 
I hope they do come in with a fire in their belly. We could use some stiff competition before we go back on the road. It would be nice to see them fight to the very end. However, I think we will get about 15 minutes out of them before they roll over. I am not sure of their toughness after that SUU game. They are probably doubting themselves, as well. In looking at the matchups, I don't see any positions where we don't domminate. Can anyone show me a position where we are not ahead of them? :twocents:

Agreed.

I'd like a UNCO fan to come on here and tell me that Barden is better than Mook or Unruh is better than Scotty. Both are good players, but aren't anywhere near as good as their counterparts. I think they, cubbies, have talent. They do, but Weber has more.

I don't consider it much of a rivalry, and I would imagine the majority of WSU Nation would feel the same way. Is it a big game, sure, but only in the fact we should win and can't trip up a conference game at home. Other than getting the montana football games on root sports :thumbdown: there isn't much value added with UNC in the conference, IMO.

Hey, ya'll! I'm coming to the game! And I'm gonna be wearing my new flat bill with the new logo on it!
 
Good win overall, beat this team the way we should have, UNC has talent, it just doesn't seem to be utilised that well, we are still missing way to many free throws though, that can cost us a Big Sky championship.


Now lets go take care of business on Saturday vs our new Big Sky bretheren from North Dakota
 
Not happy with getting outrebounded by UNC. But gald to Tres pull down 7 boards. The defense this team is playing is phenomenal. Berry, Otis, Richardson, Bamforth, Wheelwright. They really get into the bodies of their opponents and create havoc. And with Bolomboy, Tres and Hajek down low ready to block shots ... I like it.
