At least we aren't as dead as the UNC page. Over there, an occasional post about firing the coach and that is it.

Unfortunately, I'm not expecting a huge turnout. Competing head to head with the Ducks is one thing, but when they are playing UDub, it is totally another. Plus, Northern Colorado fans don't travel. It's going to be just PSU (with maybe a light dab of Beaver fans checking in).

In the first half they handed it to us, with blocked punts, interceptions, sacks and TFLs. But how much of this was our defense schemes? And what happened in the fourth quarter? Second stringers? But Alexander was in to the end.
It was an easy game to watch. I don''t reckon we'll have any more like it this year.

Northern Colorado has been a 4th quarter team all season. The problem is that they dig themselves too big a hole to get out of in the 4th. They scored 26 points in the 4th last week against a pretty good Davis team.

And our next opponent, Sacramento State, hasn't won a game in conference yet. Their only wins have been against the NAIA and this Northern Colorado team by a score of 28-25. They lost to Cal Poly last week and to Southern Utah today. They play North Dakota next week who just hammered the Griz. I won't say it is easy, but if we keep playing like we have been, I like our chances.
