Seriously? This is for real the dumbest thing I have ever seen. Why doesnt someone who has a problem get out of their seat, walk up to where joe is and talk to him. Or better yet, jerry bovee is at every game usually in section H or somewhere behind the scorers table ( I see him all when I am going to my seat) and you can go up and discuss your concerns with him or set up a meeting. Or second floor in stew stadium, just walk right up. B*tching to everyone on the forum doesnt do anything... if you have over 600 ppl who agree with you get them to sign a petition and take it in when you have a meeting with him.
I personally like the intro song and all that has been done with the videos and when joker is played at the right time it does well. It served its purpose as an intro song and I think it does more for the atmosphere when played at precise moments when needed.
Good lord this is getting out of hand

First...I do agree, this is becoming rather idiotic. However, my only reason for posting on this thread is to point out the fact that FANs like it. If FANs like something, why wouldn't you do it? Anyway, that is something Weber's administration has to figure out.
Next, yes, I have talked with Bovee about this. He always says the same thing each time, very political, "I'll see what I can do." In his defense, he has far more important things to worry about than what songs are played during a game. What is sad, is that Joe doesn't care. WSU doesn't have the most fans on earth, and their is a lot of potential for growth. Why wouldn't you listen to and try to cater to what your fans want? I don't get it.
Nonetheless, lets all face it. We, the fans on this board, will still donated and participate in WSU events. Yet, it is extremely frustrating having WSU employees argue with their fans. It is comical that you and your buddy who should be focusing on increasing overall attendance at women's event are arguing with actual Weber State fans on a fans forum. I've gone to one WBBALL game this year, and the crowd was embarrassing. Granted, that is mostly dependent on Ws and Ls; yet...there are always things that can be done. Two Alumni spent 5 hours last friday, on their days off, to get folks to the game on saturday. I don't know how much good it did, but know now, if given the same resources what I would do differently to get fans. I would keep trying and working hard. Learning from past experiences and try again. But instead of doing your job you are arguing with the very people you should be talking with. I'm sorry you have to work with women's athletics, but like all careers, you have to start somewhere. Why not do your best with what you have and where you are. I have nothing against either of you. You know where to find me if you want to talk.
Like I have said before, I don't mind Joe as a person, and I understand why he gets defensive. Who likes being attacked at their job for doing their job?
Anyway, GO CATS!!
