Disappointed in how this page has turned into a politicize non-direct sports related page. This is much bigger than sports.

All these "chinese hate" could also be unfounded as France recently announced that their first known case was back all the way in December. Now I didn't say that to open the door for the "let's start hating on France" group or the discussion of "well, maybe it was some Chinese tourists who spread it". So people who are politicizing things on here, how about we try to keep it a sports blog unlike everywhere else in the rest of cyberspace. Just pure sports a love for the hornets.

No, it came from China. The "it came from Europe" is just Community Chinese Party (CCP) propaganda. Hell they even claimed the US Army started this  :dunce: . No telling how long it spread in China, but it got so widespread that the WHO finally had to bring it up. Considering the WHO then ran cover for the CCP until mid-January, it must have been pretty rampant in China for the WHO to address it. All the while Chinese nationalists were able to travel internationally at will, spreading the virus around the globe.

I'm not saying China did this on purpose. I think it was a virus that was being studied that escaped a lab. But China gets the blame for lying about it and trying to cover it up. WHO gets blame for pushing the CCP's lies and not holding China's feet to the fire. That wasted time (roughly 6-8 weeks) prevented governments around the world for taking better precautions to contain/combat the spread of the Chinese flu.

And yea, I'd rather be talking sports but there aren't any because China. So fvck 'em.

This will be my last post in regards to this because I don't want to turn this into a political blog as it's slowly turning into.

But literally everything you said was speculation and henceforth, propaganda. FYI, France came out with he info, not China. And *if* the virus has been around a lot longer like you mentioned, we all know how contagious it is, then people would have started passing away a lot earlier than just February.

A little history lesson, the 1918 flu pandemic that SO many people incorrectly refer to as the "Spanish Flu" actually came from the United States. Fort Riley, Kansas to be exact. Yes, a military base. But the country was so secretive about the info, by the time it spread around the world, Spain was one of the few countries that publicly share the truth about the virus, and the US conviniently called in the "Spanish Flu". So our country hands arent exaclty clean when it comes to this global health stuff. So if you keep running your mouth and spilling propaganda, quite frankly, you're the problem. Now I'm not saying that China is not the source of this, they very well could be. But literally nothing has been confirmed as this is so new, and knowing the history of truthfelness of even this country, everything could very well be what some people accept as "alternative facts".

Now back to the Hornets, looks there's some silver linning in this situation afterall. CA and is slowly progressing to opening back up. Luckily, with the exception of Eastern Washington and the 3 CA Big Sky schools, (maybe* Portland State also) the other states in the Big Sky aren't really high impact states. Maybe there's hope for football in the fall after all. The National Championship/playoffs is not in the picture yet, but maybe Big Sky play (and hopefully championship) is still in the picture :thumb:

Wait a minute...you are accusing the SD Genius of posting speculation and propaganda as facts? You are suggesting he uses "alternative facts" to attempt to substantiate his ignorant opinions? Why that's blasphemy!!

Sacramento State Alumni Association sponsoring a "... conversation with Mark Orr, Athletics Director at Sacramento State, about the impact this pandemic has had on college athletics and the forecast for the future. So who watched the Mark Orr zoom presentation. I had been out of loop for a while, any update? I am guessing that we are seeing we can open sports back up?
