When they call the body fouls as our player is putting his hands in the air. I have said this before, but the officials have such a huge impact on the game. It might not show in the stats because players adjust the amount of pressure they apply to the officials. When I was an official, even just two or three close calls going to one team or the another would have a big impact on the game. It may seem small, but the CSU players know they can push the ball and get a call with even minimal body contact.

I respect the players for not complaining to the officials. This game doesn't tell much about how much talent we have. So glad we have USU and SJSU at home! Let's pack the house!

They called the game tight, that is for sure. But officials don't factor into 18 point losses.

2 different conversations - 1. you cant play D anymore with new rules and 2. we got beat and lost by a lot so it was the team playing poorly. its really early on but this is one game i didnt want to see as a loss.

In one way I can agree with purple, if the refs really are calling minor contact body fouls it can change the way you play defense, CSU knew all they had to do was take it inside and they would be taking a trip to the freeline, so that's what they did.

However I am not blaming this loss on the refs, I am blaming this loss on our inablility to play team ball, what the heck is it with all the one on one being played by this team??? WORK TOGETHER!
