Coming off a three games in six nights road trip, coming off being shorthanded, coming off Kayla Oakes being sick-as-a-dog Friday yet still grinding out 30 minutes of action Saturday, the Bengals swept the road trip.

They are now back in the hunt with the biggest week of the season coming up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Montana Thursday night at 7PM and conference leader Montana State Saturday at 2PM.

If you ever wanted to come out to a game featuring the defending Big Sky Conference champs, THIS IS THE TIME.

ISU has won 40 of the last 47 games at the ICCU Court at Reed Gym...a good week this upcoming week and ISU could be at the top or within' a sliver of doing so.

This team needs your support! This team DESERVES your support. 52 wins in the last two and a half seasons.

PLEASE come on out and support this incredibly gifted and gutsy team.

And another word about Kayla. Fans you'd have to have seen her on Friday at the airport to understand how sick she was yet somehow she pulled it together and got out there Saturday and did a terrific job defensively. Her leadership, her willingness to push herself was a key reason ISU came from behind, beat NAU and swept the road trip, which was brutal to start with.

I marvel at her guts and fortitude.

Come out Thursday night and Saturday afternoon and thank her yourself for a remarkable effort.

Over 12 hundred came out tonight and everyone is very appreciate of that support. Thank you. They just couldn't get over the hump, like Seton said in the postgame, you make unforced errors, you go into scoring droughts, you miss easy shots...against Montana...they'll make you pay.

Not the end of the season, still have time to get a postseason spot and a solid seed.

Hope to see y'all out Saturday afternoon.

Over 14 hundred fans at the game today. WELL DONE FANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bengals got a huge win they are still in the race. Next week another monster game with Northern Colorado on Thursday. Please try to make it if you can. 7PM start.

Bengals now halfway home (in my opinion) regarding the number of wins needed to make the Big Sky postseason tournament. (I think the minimum needed is going to be 12). The tournament this year is going to be a battle royal in my opinion.

Hope to see you Thursday.
