First off congrats on the good season Weber, and thank you Morris and Hughey for you hard work and effort.
Alright
1. My first observation was that Oregon wasnt that good of a team, if this game was played in Ogden, LIKE IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN, Weber would have won by no less than 15.
2. The only Real advantage Oregon had over us was thier big guy Cartron, although he traveled like crazy almost every possesion, we really had no answer for him, he was also hot from free land, he got away with a lot of stuff underneath though, but of course it wasnt called.
3. Apparently the attendance was 4,375. Weber would have drawn at least 6 thousand at thier home game, great job CBI, way to screw the small guy.
4. Too many turnovers, we needed to make smarter plays and smarter passes, These guys werent overly pressing, but we still turned it over way too much. Also, going on the road, you need to hit you free's, Weber only shot 11 of them, but missed 6, Oregon however went 23 of 26.
5. Why does Weber always get the knife job by the refs? and Big Sky refs to make it worse, the Ducks were physical, but there where times when they were too physical, and they never called the over the backs by Oregon, and on that one loose ball scramble between Hughey and the Oregon kid, the Oregon was on top of Hughey pushing him away from the ball and Hughey took a spill no call. But why was I suprised, its not like the little guy is gonna get any calls in the big guys house.
6. Watching K-Bull and Scottie B last night it was hard not to realise just how AWESOME this team can be next year, IF they play up to thier potential, (which is what Im worried about the most), they can easily be a top 80 program.
