The biggest difference I saw between this year's offense and last year's was team speed. Hill, Clark, Kupp, Mitchell, and Bomber, those guys are all very fast. We also play a much higher tempo that the last few years as well. I'm not sure if this was just the game plan or what, but it was amazing to watch. The read option sprinkled in there was a nice look as well and shook things up as well. Adams running that offense is just explosive.

Adams' decision-making was flawless. He knew exactly what to do with the ball and when to do it. He had a brilliant maestro-like performance. That might have been the best I've ever seen an EWU QB play... and we've had some good ones.

Even with all his houdini like plays, the most impressive thing he did was take care of the football. No turnovers.

Of course I'll be the first one to say it-- oline played very well. Didn't get as much push around the goal line as I would like, but did a nice job in pass pro especially against the blitz/pressure schemes as the game wore on. Limited penalties as well, which can be tough in the first game for the unit.

I thought the Oline played very well in pass protection. We still seem to have a problem with blasting people off the line and opening up holes for the RB's. But our guys definitely held their own against those DE's in pass rush.
