Win or Lose, Sears stays. Consider the following argument:
Sears was retained after a terrible season last year. It would have been very easy to let him go last year and since they did not, it follows that there are some issues that make it difficult to get another quality coach at the FCS level and with the money we can afford to pay people. Perhaps it is the money that we can pay or the fact that we play at the FCS level. Whatever the reason, I think Sears will be here for at least 1 more season (perhaps 2). Not that I am a fan of Sears, but I think that is the reality of where we are at.
Too bad we did not hire Ed Lamb when we had the chance - look at at what is happening in Cedar City. :wall:
