Oklahoma vs Weber State

Great opportunity for the Wildcats to make a statement against the 15th ranked team in the country! Should be a very interesting game as the Sooners are coming off their first loss of the year.

I would have preferred OU have won the last game, they'll be pissed off they lost and probably take it out on us... just like BYU did.

I would love nothing more than a win tonight. The likelihood of that happening is pretty slim. Weber has to have the greatest shooting night of the season and Bolomboy has to play like a man possessed something we haven't really seen yet this season (hopefully Beckner makes the trip and rips into him for being soft). Weber wins if...Oklahoma has the worst shooting night ever, Hajek figures out how to score buckets from the high post and gains a bunch of mad skills in the low post, Bolomboy harnesses his inner Willie, and we get a 10 and 5 average from Golden, Senglin, and Gittens. Oh, and that the Hill/Coston tandem owns it. Fanciful, but not impossible!! LOOOOOOL

Reality check ... bring on the Big Sky. Perhaps Golden can run off 50 and get us back in this since he is going to become our leading scorer.

They are who we thought they were! Let's get ready for Bristol!

I think we will be fine once Big Sky play begins.
That's says a lot for the BSC! Wasn't our best effort! Got our butts kicked! I think the BSC is looking forward to playing us!

Unfortunately it played out about how I hoped it wouldn't, we are lucky Weber only lost by 34. It could have been much, much, worse. Only bright spot of the day is Memphis beat BYU in a heartbreaker in double OT :-D . At least cougar fans won't have any smack talk tomorrow.

That is the mentality I love. Kyle what did coach Rahe put in your purple stuff to make you think like him?

I started my new Weber State drinking game tonight. Every time we turned it over I took a shot. I blacked out before half time. The good news is that when I regained consciousness, we had only lost by 34.

I am not so sure. I think we will see very slow progress for the rest of the year and I wish we were spending more time developing for the future. I.E. Richardson certainly deserves more playing time. The JC transfers are what they are and will never lift us to a BSC title.

I don't follow, what does BYU have to do with anything? They don't care about Weber; they're not relevant to BYU or basketball in the state of Utah, at least in the Rahe era.

OMG… what is happening here?

1) A completely outmatched defense.
2) The same deficient offense we've been watching all year.
3) Probably the worst Weber @$$-kicking I have ever witnessed, and on cable TV for all to see.
4) An unbelievable D1 record==> the septic end of a 39-nothing run.
5) Announcers without words because they've never seen their Power Conference team beat any D1 like this.
6) A complete and total purple KoolAid crash.

They'll be alright, these are the kind games that prepare them for conference play. Besides, Saturday, they get back to playing more evenly match competition in a team named after parts of a toilet brush. I like their chances of getting the win and riding that wave of momentum into conference play.

39-0 run, is truly mind numbing to imagine how many things are wrong (disconnect) with this team/coaches for that to happen.

The writing was on the wall for this season after the debacle in Logan.
Oklahoma should not be ranked, they have 3 losses. No wins against current Top 25.

For a 39-0 run to happen so much has to be wrong on so many levels.
